In the 1942-43 playoffs he was on the top line with Bill Cowley and Herb Cain (through most of the season Boll played with Jackson and Cowley - until Boll suffered a season ending injury). Like Joe states Cain and Jackson were 3rd liners before the war. Jackson was a pretty good player.
